Dr. Renee F. Hill is Principal Lecturer at the University of Maryland College of Information Studies and Director of the School Library specialization. She teaches courses and provides guidance that prepares graduate students to become information specialists who serve children and youth. Dr. Hill is passionate about and committed to research and teaching that focuses on examining methods that various entities within LIS might use to address issues of cultural competence, diversity, inclusion, and service to underrepresented populations.
